It’s gone, life goes on

We finished the last of the nutella. I say ‘we’, but what I mean is me. When I ventured into the snack cupboard I was greeted with an empty jar. But, an empty jar is only empty to the empty hearted.
Unfazed, I grabed a butter knife and two eager helping mouths. We gave new meaning to scraping the bottom.
The boys are so much more kissable when they are covered in nutella.
Today, I regained my composure and started counting calories. This is such a unenthusiastic task for me. Why would I want to count all day, only to discover I have already exceeded what a supermodel ate all week?
Then again, it’s going to be alright. I love food. I love good, natural, healthy food. I’m not easily fooled or distracted by fake claims. I tend to eat what the earth has to offer without man’s meddling hands. Except of course, my freind, nutella.

  • It’s a sad day when the Nutella finally runs out. No matter what kind of diet you are on Nutella should always fit in… especially when the rest of your diet is all natural. Don’t let that counting get to you…there just numbers, they don’t control us.

  • What is this Nutella stuff? Wait. Never mind. If it’s that good, I don’t want to know…

    Your boys are absolutely beautiful!

  • It’s my stepmom’s favorite and she’s currently weighing in at 105…
maybe the real trick is to eat more?

  • Dave bought a special tiny spatula specifically for scraping the nutella jar. There is not a molecule left to be seen when he’s done. When Judith helps me put the dishes away, she gets excited if she sees the tiny spatula, and says “For the chocolate!”
